today’s dress rehearsal, an actor was extremely sick and couldn’t be there.

The theatre department lost a really amazing person tonight, and it’s heartbreaking. I have not felt this, ever. I know you are happier, Jake, and I know you’re looking down on all of us with that SMILE that I remember from Freshman year, but -

It’s truly amazing when the entire theatre and dance department, including graduates and past students, comes together over an unfortunate loss of one of their students.
Rest in peace Jake. I know you’ll be happier now that you don’t feel your sadness. We miss you, and your presence isn’t lost on us.
